Skymning is a very beautiful word. This is the opinion of both Pär Lagerkvist and myself. For me, love and attention also have much to do with the translation profession. It is out of love for words and language that I have chosen my line of business and it is with respect for the original texts that I conduct it.

The company skymnings translations has been in business since March 2002 - but I have been working as a translator alongside my studies long before that. I have studied English at the universities of Lund (BA) and Stirling (MLitt) and French at the university of Lund. As a translator I profile myself as a stylist - the texts you receive back from me are polished with an artist's brush rather than a sledge hammer. This however, does not lead to unreasonable delivery dates. Depending on the type of text I translate between 1000-2000 words a day.
